We offer a complimentary shuttle service for hotel guests, connecting you with Citara Beach and the town of Forio at set times throughout the day. It’s a simple, stress-free way to get around and enjoy the island with no need for a car.

The service is available after hotel check-in.
It is not available for arrivals and departures to and from the port.

How to get here

By car, by train, by plane

Getting to Hotel Grazia alla Scannella is easy. And if you’d rather not worry about the details, we recommend booking our transfer service: we’ll take care of everything, from the port to the hotel, quickly and comfortably.

If you prefer to travel independently, you can take a hydrofoil from Naples’ Molo Beverello (to Ischia, Casamicciola Terme, or Forio) or a ferry from Calata Porta di Massa (to Ischia or Casamicciola Terme). Once you arrive on the island, you can reach the hotel by private taxi or by using the EAV public bus service.

By car

If you’re traveling with your own car, you can board a ferry to Ischia from two ports: Naples – Calata Porta di Massa (crossing time approx. 1h20) or Pozzuoli (approx. 1h). To reach Calata Porta di Massa, follow signs for Centro – Zona Portuale. If you choose the port of Pozzuoli, we recommend taking the Naples Ring Road (Tangenziale di Napoli) and exiting at Pozzuoli – Via Campana. After the toll booth, continue straight for about 2.5 km until you reach the port. Once you’ve landed on the island, simply follow signs to Forio, then to Panza. From there, we suggest using GPS for the final stretch. The hotel offers private on-site parking.

By train

If you’re arriving by train, your stop is Napoli Centrale (Piazza Garibaldi), which is well connected to all major ferry terminals for Ischia. From the station square, you can take a taxi or hop on the Alibus, the public shuttle that offers direct service to both Molo Beverello (for hydrofoils) and Calata Porta di Massa (for ferries). Once on the island, you can reach the hotel by taxi, public bus (EAV), or with a pre-booked transfer. We’ll take care of everything for you.

By plane

From Naples International Airport, getting to the ferry terminals for Ischia is easy. You can take a taxi or hop on the Alibus shuttle, which goes directly to Molo Beverello (for hydrofoils) and Calata Porta di Massa (for ferries). Once you’re on the island, you can reach the hotel by taxi, public transportation, or a pre-booked transfer for a smooth, hassle-free arrival.
